First of all a HUGE thank you to all families who are taking a keen interest in their child's home learning.Without your support your children would not be as excited about their home activities as they are.
The Home Learning Grid allows children to choose the activity they wish to do each week...encouraging choice and independence.Often the activities encourage child and parent /family to work together on a project e.g cooking a meal, researching family history.
By working with your child you are showing interest .....and of course we know we all are more successful when someone pays interest to us!!
Over the last few weeks we've seen some interesting board games brought to school and some fascinating lunch snacks served in organic containers such as hedgehog oranges with fruit kebabs and an apple container for apple and kiwifruit segments...all very colourful and certainly creative! Well done.
Have a look at 2 of the songs that were composed for home learning on the Whats Happening page..we sang them at assembly...and we were GOOD!!!
